Location

The Brund is a hamlet of Sheen close to the Staffordshire / Derbyshire border in the Manifold Valley and is situated on a dection of the footpath between Hartington & Longnor at the side of the river Manifold as it weaves its way towards Hulme End.

Set in the Staffordshire Moorlands a part of The Peak District National Park, it is a great location to explore the towns of Bakewell, Matlock, Ashbourne, Leek and Buxton (famous for the Opera House and mineral water).

Local attractions like Chatsworth House, Haddon Hall, Calke Abbey, Hardwick Hall, and Alton Towers are nearby, as well as Dovedale, Beresford Dale, Milldale, Manifold Dale and the Tissington Trail.

Whether walking, cycling or driving, this area has something for everyone.
